Neste domingo dia 28 de agosto de 2011 foi realizado mais um vídeo music awards organizado pela MTV, o que mais me surpreendeu nessa que é uma das principais premiações da música mundial não foi Lady Gaga vestida de homem nem o anuncio da gravidez de Beyonce. O que realmente me surpreendeu foram os vencedores e não estou falando do fato dos prêmios de fotografia, direção, direção de arte e edição terem sido ganhos por Adele, pelo fato de serem critérios técnicos não vou entrar no mérito de ter sido merecido ou não.Agora os demais prêmios como melhor vídeo pop, melhor clip de Hip Hop esses sim vamos trazer a discussão. A começar pelo de melhor vídeo pop que foi Till The World Ends da Britney Spears, o que foi um dos resultados que no momento eu disse ela vai ganhar, afinal esse era o VMA em homenagem a ela, mais convenhamos ela não merecia ter vencido esse premio pois existe vários vídeos melhores que esses a começar por Last Friday Night da Katy Perry mas já que preferiram homenagear a Britney do que levar isso a sério. No quesito melhor vídeo rock ai sim Foo Fighters, realmente foi um dos únicos que foi acertado pois realmente o vídeo do Foo Fighters estava muito melhor que os concorrentes.O melhor vídeo de Hip Hop foi vencido por Nicki Minaj com o seu Superbass, sinceramente se queriam premiar Nicki Minaj colocasse então Moment 4 Life que é um video muito melhor do que Superbass e existem vários vídeos melhores do que esses que foram indicados, como por exemplo Make it Rain do Travis Porter, Space Bound do Eminem, Monster do Kanye West entre outros.Melhor vídeo masculino é uma piada Justin Bieber ganhar qualquer um dos outros vídeos teria sido mais merecedor que U Smile de Justin Bieber.A maior decepção pra mim foi o premio de melhor video feminino e melhor vídeo do ano, porque foi uma das coisas mais inexplicáveis de todas, a Lady Gaga ganha o premio de melhor vídeo feminino concorrendo com Katy Perry e Katy Perry ganha o premio de melhor vídeo do ano com o vídeo que perdeu de Lady Gaga o premio de melhor vídeo feminino então temos uma grande controvérsia ai. Pra encerrar a melhor parceria ficou com Katy Perry e Kanye West com E.T. merecidamente apesar de que a melhor parceria na minha opinião foi Welcome to My Hood do Dj Khaled e o vídeo revelação foi para Tyler the Creator o que foi merecido também porque sinceramente Wiz Khalifa não é mais revelação, já é realidade. Alguns nomes que eu senti falta nessa premiação são LMFAO, Rihanna, Flo Rida entre outros.Abaixo a lista de premiados e indicados.
